Job Title: Benefits & Leave Administrator

Location: Fountain Valley, CA (100% Onsite)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-4:30 PM

Assignment Length: 3-6 Months (Potential for Extension)

Pay: $30-$35/hour DOE

We are partnering with a well-established global organization in the automotive industry to identify a bilingual Benefits & Leave Administrator to support a high-volume employee population. This role will focus primarily on leave administration, disability programs, and employee benefits support.

What You'll Do

Leave Administration

  • Manage employee leaves including FMLA, CFRA, ADA, state leave programs, personal leaves, and other protected leaves
  • Track leave requests, approvals, extensions, and return-to-work dates
  • Coordinate with employees, managers, and third-party administrators throughout the leave process
  • Support Short-Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (LTD), and state disability claims
  • Assist with ADA accommodations and the interactive process

Benefits Administration

  • Support medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, and voluntary benefit programs
  • Process enrollments, qualifying life events, and employee benefit changes
  • Audit benefit elections and deductions for accuracy
  • Serve as a resource for employee benefits questions
  • Assist with open enrollment activities and benefits communications

Employee Support & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, COBRA, and applicable state regulations
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
  • Assist with reporting, audits, and HR compliance initiatives
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees and managers

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in leave administration, benefits administration, or HR operations
  • Hands-on experience administering FMLA, CFRA, ADA accommodations, disability programs, and employee benefits
  • Strong knowledge of leave laws and compliance requirements
  • Experience working with HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration systems
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Bilingual Spanish, required
  • Experience supporting employee wellness events, health fairs, or benefits communications is a plus
  • Knowledge of Canva is a plus
